I recently had a great stay at a hotel in Romania. The location was fantastic, with the city center just a stone's throw away. Plus, it was conveniently near the castle at Hunedoara, which was a must-visit attraction. The staff at the hotel were friendly and provided excellent service. The rooms were comfortable, with a large bed and a big balcony where I could relax and enjoy the view. One of the highlights was the breakfast, which had a good variety of options and suited my taste. it was a great value for money experience.
I must say, everything about my stay was commendable.

The room was large and clean. There was some confusion with our booking, this hotel operates a two and three star facility. This was not clear on the booking site,as far as we were concerned we booked a room in the three star hotel for 34 euro, on arrival we were informed that was the two star price. After lengthy discussion they eventually agreed to put us up in the tree star area, however the experience was not a pleasent one. We also arrived on a national holiday and everthing was closed.
Deva is a very industrialised area - not really a tourist area. The a/c did not work

Gangsters.. We arrived late in the evening around 23:00 and met a very unfriendly guy in the reception. He could not find the booking and told us that this is a booking for the cheap rooms 2 stars. The hotel on Booked.net is listed as 3 stars. When we got the room it was very dirty, old and had not been cleaned for years. The Bathtub was full with water, the toilet not cleaned etc. When we confronted the receptionist, he said that he has a lot of free rooms, but we need to pay more to get them. We just wanted what we had booked. After a long discussion we called the local police, 4 police officers came and in the end we got what we book a ok room. They try to trick you in showing you an horrible room that you can not stay in and then force you to pay more if you don't call the police. Strange customer service. Don't go here. Everything else will be better.

Great location near the train station and within walking distance of popular bars and restaurants. The room was surprisingly spacious and comfortable, with a functional air conditioning system and hot shower. Plenty of parking spaces available for guests with cars.
Unwelcoming staff with a lack of friendliness and hospitality. The room cleanliness left much to be desired;

The gal that greeted us in the evening was wonderful, We were surprised by the buffet breakfast. While not the best it was good for this hotel.
The assistant manager in the morning was a big grump and was not willing to help us with anything and told us so. The hotel is very run down. There are entire sections of the hotel closed that are in complete ruin. The beds were awful and you only have one sheet. The entire hotel is very tired, including the elevator.

Spent the New Year's Eve at this hotel and it was quite an experience. Loved the stylish and cozy room decor, as well as the comfortable beds and pillows. the breakfast was amazing, a wide range of options was offered, and the coffee was great too. the location was key, as it was very close to public transportation and supermarkets. the staff was friendly and prompt in helping us with our requests.
That the hotel building was a bit old and worn down, but it was still clean and adequate for the price we paid. There weren't many restaurants in the immediate area, but it was still possible to find some nearby.

We had a great stay at this hotel! Best aspects were the location, with easy access to transportation and close to the city center, and the cleanliness of the rooms and hotel facilities. We also appreciated the free parking and the friendly staff. The breakfast options were diverse and served in a beautiful room.
Nothing, no complaints at all.
